Based in Zürich, working remotely

One person from diagnosis to follow-up

Switzerland · Zürich

Information verified ·

Local expertise, across Switzerland.

Based in Zürich, I work remotely across Switzerland and consider on-site response when the incident requires it. You keep one point of contact from first diagnosis to verified remediation.

Who should I contact after a cyberattack in Switzerland?

Contact a cybersecurity specialist to contain the incident, analyse evidence and secure systems. Notify your bank immediately if money is moving, then report the case to the NCSC or police when appropriate.

Do you only work in Zürich?

No. I am based in Zürich and support individuals and businesses remotely throughout Switzerland. On-site work can be arranged depending on location, urgency and technical scope.

How is your role different from the NCSC or police?

My role is technical: contain, investigate, remediate and prevent. The NCSC collects reports and publishes Swiss threat information. Police handle complaints and criminal proceedings. These roles complement each other.

Which languages can you work in?

Engagements can run in French or English, with an understanding of German, Italian and Portuguese. Technical deliverables can be supplied in French or English.

For whom

Defence shaped around your reality.

01

Individuals & families

When an account, identity, device or money is at stake, I help you understand what happened, secure what matters and take the right next steps.

  • Compromised email, social or messaging account
  • Scams, phishing, sextortion or identity theft
  • Suspicious phone or computer
  • Family security and digital hygiene

02

Freelancers, SMEs & nonprofits

Security proportionate to your risks and resources: not a random product catalogue, but the controls that genuinely reduce exposure.

  • Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and cloud audits
  • Account, endpoint, backup and access protection
  • Incident response and business continuity
  • Phishing awareness and internal procedures

03

Startups & product teams

I combine security and full-stack engineering to find vulnerabilities, fix them in code and stop them returning in the next sprint.

  • Web application, API and architecture reviews
  • Code, authentication, permission and data reviews
  • Penetration tests before launch, fundraising or client review
  • Secure-by-design, CI/CD and secrets management

Full coverage

Everything needed to regain control.

I can handle one focused issue or lead the full chain from first signal to verified remediation. Every engagement starts with a clear scope and explicit authorisation.

01

Emergency & incident response

Contain quickly, understand the impact and restore operations without destroying useful evidence.

  • Compromised accounts, malware, ransomware and unauthorised access
  • Triage, timelines, log analysis and evidence preservation
  • Containment, eradication, recovery and credential rotation
  • Incident report, root causes and recurrence prevention

02

Audit, penetration testing & investigation

Test what an attacker could actually exploit — only within a perimeter you own or have written permission to assess.

  • Web apps, APIs, authentication, business logic and authorisation
  • Infrastructure, networks, cloud, SaaS, endpoints and configuration
  • Code, dependencies, secrets and CI/CD pipeline reviews
  • External attack surface, OSINT and controlled phishing simulations

03

Protection & architecture

Reduce the likelihood of an incident and limit its cost if something still gets through.

  • Hardening devices, servers, accounts and cloud services
  • MFA, identity, least privilege and admin access
  • Tested backups, encryption, segmentation and monitoring
  • Policies, playbooks, continuity, supplier and risk management

04

Scams & personal security

Human support to verify a situation, stop escalation and document what the right organisations will need.

  • Analysis of messages, sites, profiles, investments and payment requests
  • Phishing, fake support, romance scams, sextortion and blackmail
  • Identity theft, doxxing, harassment and data exposure
  • Account recovery and digital footprint clean-up

Method

Fast when needed, rigorous always.

At every step, you know what I am doing, why I am doing it and what remains to be decided. An emergency starts with containment; preventive work starts with business risk.

  1. 01

    Confidential triage

I gather the facts, assess urgency, identify critical assets and give you the first safe actions.

  2. 02

    Scope & authorisation

Objectives, systems, rules of engagement, deliverables and cost are written down before intrusive work.

  3. 03

    Analysis & response

I work from evidence, document findings and prioritise what reduces real risk fastest.

  4. 04

    Verified remediation

I fix the issue with you or your team, then retest to confirm the vulnerability or cause is gone.

  5. 05

    Report & follow-up

You leave with a clear summary, technical details, useful evidence and a prioritised roadmap.

Principles

Discretion, evidence, proportion.

Cybersecurity is not a show of force. My job is to reduce risk, protect your data and make decisions understandable.

  • 01Confidentiality and minimal data collection
  • 02Traceable actions, reversible whenever possible
  • 03Priorities based on impact, never fear
  • 04Deliverables readable by leadership and usable by engineers
  • 05Responsible disclosure when a third party is affected
  • 06No unrealistic promise of fund recovery or absolute security

FAQ

Before you get in touch.

01Do you help both individuals and businesses?

Yes. The scope changes, not the level of care. For individuals, I favour simple, explained and proportionate actions. For businesses, I add governance, traceability, technical coordination and formal deliverables.

02What should I include in my first message?

Describe what you see, when it started, affected devices or accounts and what you already tried. Never email a password, MFA code, private key or unredacted identity document.

03Do you perform penetration tests?

Yes, across applications, APIs, infrastructure and cloud environments, with written scope and authorisation. Rules of engagement, limits, testing windows and data handling are agreed first.

04Can you recover money stolen in a scam?

I can help stop escalation, preserve evidence, secure accounts and prepare a clear file for your bank, the platform or authorities. Nobody can guarantee the recovery of funds.

05Do you work remotely?

Yes. I am based in Zürich and most diagnostics, audits and remediation can be delivered remotely. On-site work can be considered when needed.

06How much does an engagement cost?

After a first exchange, I propose either a fixed fee for a defined scope or a short triage phase when the extent is still unknown. Price and deliverables are agreed before work begins.

07Will my information remain confidential?

Yes. I collect only what is needed, agree the right communication channel and can work under an NDA. Sensitive information is never reused as a marketing case without explicit consent.
